Early Life
[edit]Ibrahimshah Faisal was born on March 1, 2002, in Arusha, Tanzania. He is the first-born son of Faisal Shahbhai, a prominent businessman who established various companies in the Tanzanite industry, including Tanzanite Forever Lapidary, Tanzanite One, and Sky Associates Group.
Ibrahimshah began his primary education at St. Constantine International School in Arusha. In 2016, at the age of 15, he moved to the United Kingdom to attend Brookehouse College, where he continued his education and began his journey in football. He later attended Heriot-Watt University in Dubai, graduating in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business.

[edit]Ibrahimshah's football career started in his youth. He joined Leicester City’s academy at the age of 17 while still studying at Brookehouse College. In 2020, upon turning 18, he attended a Tanzanian national team U20 match in the CAF CECAFA tournament held in Arusha. Shortly after, he was called up to the Tanzanian U20 national team. In 2021, Ibrahimshah was part of the squad shortlisted for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Mauritania and participated in friendly matches against the Saudi Arabia U20 National Team.
Business
[edit]In 2022, Ibrahimshah became the Managing Director of Zanzibar Marine Hatchery Company Limited. The company, which plays a significant role in the blue economy, produces nearly eight million sea cucumber larvae per month and is the leading producer in East Africa, maintaining a strong relationship with the Tanzanian government.
Simultaneously, Ibrahimshah took on the role of Managing Director at Heart of Gems, a company based in Dubai. His involvement in these enterprises has positioned him as one of the most influential young business figures in Africa, drawing inspiration from his father’s successful ventures.
