60 Minutes is an American television news magazine broadcast on the CBS television network. Debuting in 1968, the program was created by Don Hewitt and Bill Leonard.
On May 7, 2023, correspondent Cecilia Vega debuted on the show in the middle of the season. Her first story was on sperm whales near the Caribbean island of Dominica.[1]
The show is hosted by several correspondents; none share screen time with each other. Full-time hosts include Lesley Stahl, Scott Pelley and Bill Whitaker. Reporters include Sharyn Alfonsi, Anderson Cooper and Jon Wertheim.
The 17th episode with the interview of Prince Harry had the highest ratings of the season.[2]
