Toilet water
[edit]Look, I'm sorry Doug, but I'm sick at the moment and also on a more-or-less wikibreak. This looks like a complicated issue that I haven't the energy to try and sort out right now. Maybe in a few days when hopefully I'm feeling a bit better, otherwise you might want to ask someone else for assistance. Cheers, Gatoclass (talk) 12:47, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your message on my talk page. Sorry I've not replied, I've not been sick (except a bit of Wikipedia to be honest) so took a bit of a Wikibreak. Not sure if you still want me to look over this for you, and if so, in what manner? Si Trew (talk) 20:23, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

- 1) See Wikipedia:Units#Units_of_measurement, conversion section, see {{Convert}}
- 2) Yes, 1957 establishments in the United States would be quite fine
- 3) See WP:ASSESS. Assessment templates are like talk-page categories, and enable articles to be included in various project-related reports and activities. Best way to start using them - think of related articles, see what assess templates they are using from. An article like yours would usually have a template related to monuments, and a template related to location.
- 4) Wikipedia:How to add geocodes to articles
- 5) {{Infobox monument}}, which I found by going to Wikipedia:Infoboxes and following the links to the list of infoboxes...

- I added the measurement ([1]). Regarding the assessment templates, I tend to assess my own articles for anything below B-class (where peer review can be obtained). If you really don't want to review your own work, you don't have to, but adding assess templates for others to fill in will at least alert active projects that they have an article to review. An article without assessment templates is about as "faulty" as one without the categories, but the fault is not visible to the readers - just the editors. See WP:POLAND or WP:SOCIOLOGY to see example tools using assessment templates (perhaps most crucial is the Article Alert log). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:42, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Hamburger Feuerkasse logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. I saw the DYK nomination of Alaungpaya and ran the DYK check tool, expansion and time are fine, the edit of 26 March was still the size when expansion was performed 12 April. The size is not the char size, but "readable prose size", without tables, refs etc. I recommend you install the tool yourself, it is helpful, although the results should still be treated with care, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:45, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Biographies of Living Persons
[edit]Hi, thanks for reviewing my hook. In order to encourage editors to add references to biographies of living persons (known as BLPs), for which references are often hard to come by, the DYK project recently started offering the opportunity to nominate pages that have been expanded only 2x with references. This does not apply to BLPs that already have a few references, and for which someone added a few more (in that case, he would have to do a 5x expansion). There is a special WikiProject which I check into now and then, at Wikipedia:WikiProject Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons/UBLPs by other WikiProjects, which lists the thousands of unreferenced BLPs currently on Wikipedia.
