I'd just like to say, thanks for welcoming me to Wikipedia on 26th August, and according to your contributions, many others. You deserve a barnstar ;).
The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
Thanks for welcoming many new users, like myself, to Wikipedia. :) ~ EmeZxX 12:58, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
For your continued and plentiful contributions to Requests for Administrative tools I bequeath you with The Working Man's Barnstar. Your contributions there always seem to be well-thought out and useful to the discussion. SorryGuy 01:42, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
For being the only user to take the time to alert new users about their malformed RFAs at their talk pages. Mtmelendez(Talk) 15:52, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar may be awarded to those that show a pattern of going the extra mile to be nice, without being asked. - I was very impressed, not only with the reading list and the advice and insight, but also with the fact that you took the time to do so. In a moment when it would have been easy to simply comment, you chose to attempt to educate, in an obvious attempt to help others. This is deservedly well-earned. - jc37 02:57, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
For being a special guy who brings patience, good humour, intelligence and sincerity to his Wikipedia communications. And for making people feel at home in the online environment (even off-kilter Portuguese guys who talk too much!). Ecoleetage (talk) 02:18, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Looking at your actions, you seem to be a relatable, warm, and intelligent administrator. We need more administrators like you. Mr. Guye (talk) 22:46, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for working with me on different instances. Also, thank you for all the advice you have given me recently. Reb1981 (talk) 22:00, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
You honestly deserve a beer for that edit alone!,
I'm not usually the one to allow "sock edits" if you like but I feel in this circumstance things are a lot more different,
But anyway just wanted to thank you and say it was very much appreciated
Thanks again, –Davey2010Talk 21:53, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
Not too long ago, I happened across this award for domineering admins, as evidenced by their victims' tendency to retaliate. I'm not sure what you did to the poor annies, but your talk page history clearly indicates your eligibility for this. Plus you've been quite helpful to me in dealing with vandals et al. recently. Many thanks for that, I greatly I appreciate it! —Compassionate727(T·C) 02:00, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
Thank you so much for all your work keeping RFPP under control during this past week when so many “regulars” are away from their computers! I hope whatever holidays you celebrate were enjoyable, and the new year will be a good one for you! MelanieN (talk) 23:58, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
Hello Deepfriedokra. I would like to thank you very much for all of your contributions you have done as an administrator. For this reason, I would love to present this barnstar to you, for all of your protections, anti-vandalism, and blocking of bad users. Please keep up your great work! Have a very nice day! Wyatt2049 | (talk) 15:09, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Thanks again, and I want to present this barnstar as a token of my appreciation for you kindness, good work, and great help. Have a Merry Christmas! Hajiru (talk) 16:24, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
Again thanks for your prompt actions which will hopefully bring this unfortunate situation to a less dramatic conclusion. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 01:48, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
for blocking that massive swarm of attack names. Although I no longer have the ability to contribute normally, I continue to watch malicious users be thwarted by others. 2603:6011:E00:472:301B:7C39:7CB5:7561 (talk) 01:46, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
I didn't think I'd be disappointed with your reply at ANI, but nor did I expect to be so thoroughly impressed. This reply makes me want to RFA you all over again just to draw attention to it. The self-reflection, abundance of caution, and constant referral back to the community are exactly what we hope to see from admins. Keep up the outstanding work. St★lwart111 02:49, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
When we countered on AN the previous time, I took you in a different light, but I subsequently discovered you're a good volunteer here. I just wanted to say keep up the fantastic job and keep assisting, and I apologize for upsetting you earlier. DIVINE (talk) 18:04, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
For politeness to editors falling afoul of UAA or posting promotional drafts at AfC, and consistent efforts to discuss borderline cases with new users rather than the standard block-and-template.. -- Euryalus (talk) 08:25, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
When I submitted a request for IPBE, I was thinking I might have it by morning. Four minutes was not the response time I was thinking I would get. Thank you!!
For all your work for UTRS, enjoy this barnstar :) HouseBlastertalk 23:21, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
I often notice how well you handle things as an admin. Any user can easily learn how to be the best Wikipedian just by watching how you do things. – DreamRimmer (talk) 04:46, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
You've been defending the wiki for 365 or 366 straight days (since April 22 of last year), whereas my streak is only 117 days😔. I'm hoping to beat you one day, but we'll have to wait and see. Oh, don't be offended by what that editor said on April 6; it's all part of the process, I suppose. Let's see if you can reach a 1,000 days! Bye. WolverineXI(talk to me) 11:48, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
Dealing with unblock requests is tough. A few years ago, CAT:RFU was my main activity for a week or two, but back then I eventually gave up on an ever-increasing backlog and enormous amounts of time spent per request, just to be rewarded with people continuing to do what they did before the block. Thank you very much for your patience and frustration tolerance in preventing the unblock ticket request system from breaking down. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:09, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
As JBW has pointed out ([1]), there is more than just one administrator who should get this barnstar, and if you know of more, please let me know! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:09, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
A formal thank you for your patience and diligence in the long and winded road to the unblocking of Shoot for the Stars! Panini!•🥪 05:19, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Seems the judgement was right; since the unblock they haven't been crazy-active, but its led to the creation of the Elliot Rodger article (which is especially more wild of an achievement considering the background of bickering and troves of trolls). It has some issues that they have actively been working on, including the story thing that pretty much all of my articles suffer with but don't go looking please. Regardless, this article is a major win for the encyclopedia. Panini!•🥪 05:28, 23 September 2024 (UTC)}}
Seen you around a lot. You do good work with cleaning up spam and managing unblocks. Maybe you can give me some advice on the latter someday? Anyway, I felt like you deserve this :) Fathoms Below(talk) 20:58, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
