AOL related blocks
[edit]Please be aware that when you block, or initiate an autoblock, on a proxy number used by AOL, you are unlikely to block your target but will block innocent users, anon or registered. This happens to me frequently. Please see User:WBardwin/AOL Block Collection. Information found below. However, your reason for blocking does not make much sense to me. I would appreciate a prompt release of this block, but you appear to be on holiday. Hopefully I can grab another admin's attention. WBardwin 03:05, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- You were blocked by Deckiller for the following reason (see our blocking policy): "Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "Gentzkowmp". The reason given for Gentzkowmp's block is: "If your IP address is being blocked, it's because of an autoblock. Message [[User talk:Dec" Your IP address is 207.200.116.72.
- Thanks -- I appreciate the prompt attention. Autoblocking is so very awkward for AOL users. Best wishes. WBardwin 03:34, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi! Your autoblock is still active -- hit me again today. A release would be appreciated, if you are online. WBardwin 17:26, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Old Skool Esperanzial note

Just another RFA thank you note
[edit]Dear Deckiller, I appreciate your vote and your kind words in my RFA. It has passed with an unexpected 114/2/2 and I feel honored by this show of confidence in me. Cheers! ←Humus sapiens ну? 03:28, 26 April 2006 (UTC) |
Yo
[edit]Don't wait to take up much of your 20-30 minute session for today, so I'll keep this short. I asked Flooch, but he/she didn't know; how exactly do we "win" in the FAC? XD Ryu Kaze 11:58, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. Whew. I'm glad you made me let the Peer Review last as long as it did. The FAC's pretty brutal. Ryu Kaze 18:04, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I mean, it's going well; I just meant it's kind of... I don't know what I mean. Maybe I'm worried too much about it failing. :( I'd really like our efforts to pay off. No matter what happens, though, we've made a fine, fine page out of it. Ryu Kaze 18:54, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hey. How do you think we're doing on the FAC? Ryu Kaze 21:31, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Cool. I wish Worldtraveller and Zzzzz responded more frequently. I'd like to know if we've been able to take care of the things they saw as shortcomings. But I guess what Raul thinks is ultimately more important. Ryu Kaze 21:38, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Mar Bawai
[edit]Why did you delete Ashur Soro and Mar Bawai? page? [1] Chaldean 04:10, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, why were they deleted? They did not have a support of deletion. Can we fix this? Chaldean 04:18, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Tifa Lockhart vandalism
[edit]Hey, Tyler. The Tifa page has been getting raped. Specifically by this guy and this one. The one upside to anyone being able to edit is that it helps to weed out those who shouldn't have that privelege. Can you please deal with them however seems best to you? Disintegrations sound fine. Ryu Kaze 17:29, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
May the Force be with you.
[edit]Dear Deckiller/archive18,
- Thanks for voting on my RFA! I appreciate your faith in me, and was overwhelmed by the positive response to my RFA; for it shows that at least I'm doing something right. :) I've started working to improve myself already, and I hope that next time, things run better, and maybe, just maybe, one day we can bask on the shores of Admintopia together. Thanks and cheers, _-M o P-_ 21:55, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Danger! Freakout Bar filling!
[edit]Isn't it weird how some people have nothing better to do than leave messages on other peoples' Talk pages just out of boredom or to see if it elicits a response? Jive Monk 09:02, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Hey
[edit]Hey, man. I realize you've got your burned out notice up, so I hate to bother you, but I was just wondering what to do about Zzzzz and Worldtraveller. They haven't come back to determine if they should change their Objections, though I have left messages on their discussion pages (two on Worldtraveller's). Do we just not worry about it? Does Raul basically overlook comments when people don't come back to follow-up on them? I know the FAC guidelines say that the nominator is expected to follow-up on everything said, so I'd think that those who comment would be expected to as well. Anyway, hope everything's going alright. Try to relax some and get your Wikistress level back down to "just fine." Have a good one. Ryu Kaze 14:27, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- Good news. Worldtraveller has returned with more quality feedback. I was beginning to think he'd forgotten us. XD Anyway, his Objection still stands, but if we have to slowly break it down, that's all we can do. Ryu Kaze 17:18, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Could I have your opinion on something?
[edit]Hi, deckiller, how's it going?
Anyway, I wanted to talk to you about something I am dealing with on the Runescape article. So me and a few other editors want to keep a list of links to 5 selected fansites on the article. The list was at the bottom of that article for a long time, until Kelly Martin came along and deleted it, saying that it is unnecessary to have them there. A user reverted that edit, saying that it should at least be discussed and explained on the talk page first. But then Kelly once again deleted the section, and threatened to block any user that added the section back in. Since then, everyone has been too scared to put the section back in (including me, a block doesn't look too nice on a persons record and I plan to start an RfA this fall). Anyway, what do you think about this section being removed? Is it against Wikipedia rules to have it there? Also, would I be rightfully blocked if I put the section back in? Wikipeedio 16:40, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- Nevermind. I tried putting only the largest fansite I know of back in the article, and this other guy removed it immediately. A lot of people do not want it on the article (for some reason it bothers them), so I will just not put it on. If I really want to link out a fansite then I will just have to do it on the portal or on my userpage. Thank you for your advice though. Cheers! Wikipeedio 14:00, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
