I am a musicologist whose research specializes in film/television/game soundtracks, rock and pop music history, East Asian music, and opera studies. I have published academic work, including a book, on film and TV music. I am also a university professor. I mainly edit Wikipedia articles dealing with music, film media, history and LGBTQ+ issues, though I will also correct typos, grammar issues, etc. that I find on any type of article; I like to contribute pretty much anywhere where I feel needed. I am interested in expanding my activities to include article creation and translation (mainly from the French Wikipedia), though I always end up being too busy IRL to be a more active editor. Hence my relatively low-level badges (below) for how long I've been editing.
Yes I do really like the Rolling Stones, if maybe not as much as when I first got this username. Beggars Banquet is still my favorite of their albums.
This userpage was created back in the day when many userpages were just userbox compendia. I have since moved the majority of my userboxes, particularly those relating to personal interests and opinions rather than who I am as an editor, to this page.
Thi's user know's that not every word that end's with s need's an apostrophe and will remove misused apostrophe's from Wikipedia with extreme prejudice.
