I have contributed a little to this Wikipedia. I cannot claim to have any particular expertise but only a general education. I think Wikipedia could greatly improve the quality of its articles and policies if the level of debate on the discussion pages were to rise so there can be a proper dialectic. Perhaps there needs to be more patience when debating issues, or maybe there needs to be more disregard of people who are saying a lot while contributing very little (and maybe that includes me, more often than not). In general, I think Wikipedians should become more philosophical. Despite any of this, I still think Wikipedia is one of the Web's best resources and can be made and remade into something even better.

If content is on-topic and verifiable in reliable sources, it is ipso facto valuable content and should not be removed. This is not inclusionism; this is just one half of representing the scholarship on a topic.
If content is not on-topic or not verifiable in reliable sources, it is ipso facto valueless content and should be removed. This is not deletionism; this is just one half of representing the scholarship on a topic.
If an article is too long for technical reasons, it should be split into smaller sub-articles. Valuable content is not undue nor is it fringe. If following policies and guidelines such as WP:UNDUE or WP:FRINGE results in the removal of valuable content, then this is when WP:IAR should apply.
If an article is too short to be informative, it should be enlarged with valuable content. Valueless content is either unverifiable or off-topic. If following policies and guidelines such as WP:BOLD or WP:IAR results in the addition of valueless content, then this is when WP:NOT should apply. --Atethnekos(Discussion, Contributions)

The Content Creativity Barnstar
Atethnekos, you thoroughly deserve this for your untiring efforts at WP:REX where your quick responses, often within minutes of a request being posted, are of great help to editors (including myself!) in creating new content. Many thanks - Dumelow (talk) 09:13, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for all of your VE bugs so far :). Hopefully you'll stop running into so many! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 08:09, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
The Technical Barnstar

The Teamwork Barnstar
I just wanted to thank you for organizing the community notification of the forced WP:STiki software upgrade. It's never fun when the WMF forces a change on us from above without notification, but I feel like we've reacted as quickly as possible -- and your initiative and efforts were/are/will be helpful in keeping anti-damage efforts rolling forward. gift on ideas
Thank you for quality articles on philosphy and its people, such as On Ideas and On the Pathos of Truth, for fighting for verifiability and "Dialogue should be conducted with freedom, but decisions should be constrained by reason", for adding a bird, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!
"beep beep" - Thanks for your speedy work fixing the Bibleverse template. --@Efrat (talk) 11:49, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
