Annie Mackie (c. 1865 - 23 July 1942) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]Her father was Captain William Mackie (born c. 1819 - 1901), an army officer from Duddingston in Edinburgh.
Her mother was Ann (born c. 1831) from Edinburgh.
Annie Mackie was born c. 1865 in Devonport when her father was stationed there. He moved back to Edinburgh a year later.
Her brother was the artist Charles Hodge Mackie.
