The Arizona Tour was the third concert tour by American recording artist Shuttle in support of his third studio album Arizona (2019). The tour began in Phoenix at The Pressroom as the first leg on July 11, 2019 on the eve of the release of Arizona and concluded its second leg in Berlin at BOK Center on November 20, 2019.

Background

[edit]

The tour was officially announced via Shuttle's Instagram on June 4, 2019. He announced "Get your tickets see you there". In July 2019, prior to the start of the tour, Shuttle announced "This is leg one Europe and other cities coming soon". Shuttle also announced that Lil Bro, Lil Puff, and Oreo would perform opening acts.

On August 10th, 2019, Shuttle announced the second leg of the tour, he would officially end the tour.

Setup

[edit]

The initial idea of the Arizona Tour would bring the audience to Arizona, so each stage was decorated in a fashion reminiscent of the desert with features such as cacti sautés that were put up in the audience and a Monument Valley mountain at the DJ booth.

Critical reception

[edit]

North America

The show was reviewed positively by Charles Holmes in Rolling Stone, Julian Kimble in The Washington Post, and by Chris DeVille of Stereogum.
