Revdel/oversight
[edit]I don't think revision deletion and oversight should be listed under "deletion discussions" as those two tools are explicitly for removing things that should not be discussed on wiki. Maybe with the other admin stuff? Beeblebrox (talk) 18:28, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
- OK I listed it under there to give a sort of complete guide to deletion. But I can list them under admin stuff if you feel that is better. Actually the Wikipedia:Requests for oversight is listed under admin, which is just a template with instructions, so I could move them there. --Jules (Mrjulesd) 18:33, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
Contents and grading group
[edit]It is a bit of a funny layout. The bracketed items may be confusing. Brackets often do not imply a subset, but rather an other description. Hmmmmm. How about if the first few items were something like this:

@Anna Frodesiak: Done if you want to make sensible changes please go ahead if you like, I'll discuss them if necessary. --Jules (Mrjulesd) 23:49, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
- Many thanks! It looks great. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:20, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

At https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation, in the first sentence, change "designed to assist any editor create a new page" to "designed to assist any editor in creating a new page." Bdballweg (talk) 04:00, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- Done. Bdballweg, please file the edit request at the talk page of the relevant page, in this case at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Articles for creation. ◢ Ganbaruby! (talk) 04:55, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Wikipedia holidays, pomp and circumstance and all that jazz
[edit]Shall Wikipedia:Wikipedia holidays be added to 'General community topics' as Holidays? I'd included it but was reverted with a comment that nobody celebrates them, which is incorrect at least as to Wikipedia Day. The other four in-house holidays remember the honorees achievements, and while adding only 'Wikipedia Day' to the template seems a reasonable option it would be adequately covered under the entry 'Holidays' which includes much more. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:12, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
- I still do not agree. These are things made up by Jimmy Wales, they are not from the community and are not widely observed. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:51, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- Wales makes up some pretty good things. But at a minimum Wikipedia Day, not created by Wales, seems a pertinent addition, and has been well celebrated. Randy Kryn (talk) 04:07, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
idea for section for links
