Done, although added in 2010, which you missed. Number 57 19:57, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I didn’t include it because it’s already mentioned on the 2010 Senate elections page which is listed above. I request that it be removed.
Because it was a special election held on a different date to the main elections, I think the listing in the special row is correct. Number 57 16:43, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The 1996 United States Senate special election in Oregon, 1992 United States Senate special election in North Dakota, 1972 United States Senate special election in Vermont, 1960 United States Senate special election in North Dakota, and 1934 United States Senate special election in Vermont were held on different dates than the main elections, but they aren’t included in the list. The election pages list all those held within that year, even the ones that didn’t happen in November, so posting them separately seems redundant.
They can be added to the list of special elections too. I don't understand the logic behind omitting articles on special elections from the special election row. There is no-indication that it is limited to off-year special elections. Number 57 17:46, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Template:United States House of Representatives elections template doesn’t separately list Special elections held in the same year but different dates. Furthermore, regarding the issue of being held on different dates, the pages for 2013 United States Senate elections, 1957 United States Senate elections, 1941 United States Senate elections, 1933 United States Senate elections, and 1923 United States Senate elections include elections held on different dates than each other. The logic seems to be avoiding unnecessary clutter.

I request that 2010 United States Senate special election in Massachusetts be removed from the list per the points I made in the previous discussion. 2601:241:300:B610:71A2:6391:464A:DBB4 (talk) 04:07, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this should be done, as per my points in the section above. I don't think this is unnecessary clutter. Number 57 11:51, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I request it be removed in the interest of consistency with the Template:United States House of Representatives elections template.
It already be on the 2010 United States Senate elections page was the reason why I didn't include it in my original request. As mentioned it seems inconsistent to include one such example when others are excluded. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:241:300:B610:2CEE:E19E:E71F:BDD5 (talk) 04:58, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit semi-protected}} template. You already had a discussion going on about this in the above section. Please don't use the edit request feature to bypass discussion. — Tartan357  (Talk) 10:03, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As stated above, I think it would be better to add the others than to remove this one. Number 57 13:19, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Leave as is. —GoldRingChip 17:52, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I feel like the purpose of the section is to list elections that aren’t covered on other pages, while the Massachusetts special election is covered on another page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.23.249.111 (talk) 20:51, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The reason why I didn't include it in my request was because it is already listed on this table on 2010 United States Senate elections:

  • Since the section heading was changed to "Odd-year special elections", please remove the 2010 Massachusetts election as it did not take place in an odd year. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.110.217.186 (talkcontribs) 19 September 2020 (UTC)
  • Comment By definition, the 2010 Massachusetts special election should be removed from a row that is entitled "odd-year" elections, since 2010 is not an odd-year.--Goldsztajn (talk) 00:49, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
