Unsortable

[edit]

Would it be possible to modify this template somehow to make it so that the contents of the colspan=5 cell are unsortable? If you look at 2020 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals' fifth-round pick was forfeited, but now that row always sorts alphabetically under 'S', breaking up the rest of the correctly sorted data. I tried adding class=unsortable to the cell, but that didn't seem to work. Any ideas? – PeeJay 06:57, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PeeJay2K3, One of the best places to ask this would be WP:VP/T, where such questions are best placed in the future. However, for this question now, to speed things up I have already posted a link to this question there. There is no need for you to do anything. Please wait and I hope someone from that forum will get in touch with you soon. Thanks, Gryllida (talk) 05:29, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@PeeJay2K3 and Gryllida: I went ahead and marked this as "-helped". Feel free to remove "-helped" from {{help}} if I'm mistaken. I dream of horses (t) (c) Remember to {{ping}} me after replying off my talk page 09:14, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@PeeJay2K3: class=unsortable is used in a column header to make the whole column unsortable. You want the cell to sort but either at the start or end. I sorted it at the end with data-sort-value="ZZZ".[1] There is a class="sortbottom" but it only works on whole rows and not individual cells in the row.
