Naming conventions for libraries
[edit]Hi all!
Libraries - archives > A little bit difficult to divide these two as most organisations seems to do a bit of both. Would it just duplicate effort to have a sep. navbox for archives as the organisations would be found repeating in both?
Public vs. other > Not sure on the best lables for these so please do feel free to change! Jamzze (talk) 07:08, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
- I agree that any attempt to separate libraries and archives two would be over-complicated and self-defeating, and that we don't want 2 navboxes. The present arrangement is fine. I'm similarly happy with the Public and Other labels: not perfect, but I can't think of anything better. GrindtXX (talk) 22:53, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
London Metropolitan Archives
[edit]I've added London Metropolitan Archives to the template. I've put it on its own at the head of the "Council" section, as its collections cover the whole of Greater London, although it's funded/administered by the City of London. If you disagree please put your case here. GrindtXX (talk) 22:47, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
To do list
[edit]Previous work on collating pages for London libraries has been done by Wikipedia:GLAM/London Libraries and may be useful to link this template, the above to do list and this previously started work together? Rhagfyr (talk) 08:29, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
