Text invisible in dark mode

[edit]

User:पाटलिपुत्र,thank you for making this! I see there are a few templates in the series, which may exhibit similar behaviour. When reading in dark mode, the text overlay for the map is displayed as a very light tan–peach, almost completely invisible except when considerably zoomed in.

I'm unfamiliar with the code that "inverts" certain colours in dark mode, and I also haven't perused the code of this template, but since the map colours are identical in light mode and dark mode I hope there's some easy way to make the caption display in a colour that contrasts against the map. Thanks! Folly Mox (talk) 01:15, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you @Folly Mox: I am trying to find a solution [1] पाटलिपुत्र (Pataliputra) (talk) 06:37, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Folly Mox: It works by adding the class="mw-no-invert" attribute inside the span code, as in <span class="mw-no-invert" style="color:#4F311CFF">500</span> to print 500 without the color being affected by the Dark Mode. Great! I will updated the other maps soon. Thank you again for the heads-up, I was not at all aware of this problem! पाटलिपुत्र (Pataliputra) (talk) 09:18, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
