Chart
[edit]My intention is to use Template:2019–20 coronavirus pandemic data/Canada/British Columbia medical cases to gather the data and use it in this chart. Please see the discussion at the data talk page. —TheAnonymousNerd (talk • contribs) 21:54, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
Missing data
[edit]I noticed that the data for some days since June 5 is missing. Although the data in the BC COVID-19 dashboard is only updated from Monday to Friday,[1] the numbers of total cases and deaths for Sundays until July 5 can be calculated based on the surveillance report published every Monday until July 5. Although the surveillance report is only published weekly on Thursdays from July 16, [2] the number of total cases on Sundays from July 12 onwards can still be calculated based on the “New Cases” figure shown in the BC COVID-19 dashboard next Monday. Therefore, we should include the data for every day except Saturdays from June 5 onwards. Onmaditque (talk) 01:58, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

Bars getting nudged into a new line
[edit]From 24 June 2021 onwards the bar graphs appear to be entering a new line as it seems to be getting too big for the current width. It seems setting |barwidth=auto
might resolve the issue, but more regular editors would know more about making the graph look more presentable. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 00:23, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
Still useful?
[edit]Since the dashboard is being updated every Thursday now without active or recovered cases, is there any point to keeping this template updated? It seems like it'd be better to create a new one from scratch to preserve formatting. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 22:04, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
