Template:USN fleet totals/doc
This is a documentation subpage for Template:USN fleet totals. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This template uses Lua: |
This template creates the lists of ship types and their counts at List of current ships of the United States Navy § Fleet totals. It also creates approximate active and planned numbers for the article's leed. The lists of ship types and their counts are created dynamically each time the article is saved or previewed. The modules underlying this template read the unparsed wikitables to extract and count each ship's type from the Type column. The modules then summarize and present the data at § Fleet totals. Approximate and planned numbers for the leed are extracted from the summary data.
