Zdeňka Wiedermannová-Motyčková
- ... that Zdeňka Wiedermannová-Motyčková established the first girls' secondary school in Brno? ["...founded with her sister Ludmila 'Girls' Academy' in Brno" ... "Although the Girls' Academy managed to survive the first hard years when its founders had to fight the lack of students, professorship and background, she still failed to enforce her greatest dream. This was to acquire a school-leaving exam for girls and the possibility of using the name 'gymnasium' for the academy, but in 1907 the students were able to take the school-leaving exam, which was a great privilege compared to other girls' schools. However, the school was not allowed to use the name 'gymnasium' until 1910."]

- This article is a newly promoted GA and is new enough and long enough. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright or plagiarism issues. A QPQ has been done. The hook facts are mentioned in the article but do not have specific inline citations for the actual sentence in which they appear, as required for DYK. I have added ALT1a. - Comment (I was the GA reviewer) if you swap "Brno" for "Moravia" in the first hook then it's cited directly in the "death and legacy" section - "She is remembered for her work to establish the first girls' gymnasium in Moravia", which is stated in the first paragraph of the obituary cited, Právě před 100 lety zemřela učitelka, redaktorka a propagátorka ženského vzdělávání, zakladatelka prvního Dívčího gymnázia na Moravě, Zdeňka Wiedermannová Motyčková - Today is 100 years since the death of the teacher, journalist and women's education advocate and the founder of the first girls' gymnasium in Moravia, Zdenka W-M. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 08:28, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Cwmhiraeth Thanks for the review :) . Thank you Filelakeshoe, I really have enjoyed working with you on this. I have added direct in-line sourcing to the statement about her relationship, though it is a redundancy to repeat a source for every single line if one is using the same source. Far be it from me to break a rule... (and it doesn't matter to me if the first hook is says Brno or Moravia, both are clearly documented.) SusunW (talk) 14:02, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you. This is now good to go with either hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:40, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
