Comment: This is a prime candidate for April's Fools, although I admit the initial hook might be grammatically unsound (non-native speaker struggling). I would very much like to try to get it there, and am very open to other hooks that use "yes" in a most confusing way :D Please don't approve until a satisfying hook has been found ;)
Overall: @LordPeterII: Interesting hooks. I'm not too familiar with April fool's hooks but these are uniquely interesting. Im going to approve this and see how this goes. Onegreatjoke (talk) 21:00, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
@Onegreatjoke: Thanks! I'm confident that the article is fine (and am glad that you agree), but I'm still a bit unsure about the hooks' accuracy. Pinging @Theleekycauldron for input on hook accuracy and April's Fools possibility. –LordPeterII (talk) 18:09, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
I'm intrigued! I'm pretty tired, but I think EEng'll have some good suggestions on what we can do with this article re: a solid AFD hook :) theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 07:48, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
Unfortunately I couldn't work in anything about Bananas but I did come up with ...
... which I'm not even marking as an Alt because it's not really any good; I have to be frank that we'd have to be pretty desperate on AFD to use A0 or A1 either. It seems like there ought to be something buried in there somewhere but I skimmed the whole article and couldn't find anything that moved me. Sorry to disappoint. EEng 01:19, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
ALT2: ... that given a choice between Life and World, the answer was Yes? Anderson suggested that they call the new band Life. Squire suggested that it be called World.[14] Banks responded, simply, "yes", and that was how the band were named.[6][15] good for a quirky slot. -- RoySmith(talk) 15:14, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
easily the best of the lot, verified (inaccessible citations accepted in good faith) and interesting as a standard-day quirky. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 21:25, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
