- hook facts checked and all are available online. Hook is interesting and article meets 5x expansion requirement. I found one seemingly uncited fact - that he entered the Zen convent in 1975. Not sure if that was counting backwards from 1980 or from another source, but I think it needs a clearer cite. The source actually says he spent a total of six years studying, so it's not certain from the sourcing that the six years were continuous, he might have returned home or gone elsewhere at various times. The image status looks fine too, and no copyvios. So once the above query is answered, and the QPQ done, this one's good to go. — Amakuru (talk) 08:59, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for looking carefully. I reviewed now Template:Did you know nominations/List of Broadway theaters. I added a source which says "entered in 1975 for six years" behind the entering, but moved the six years to the front of the sentence, so that they could mean the total time. My understanding: he began in 1972, entered concent in 1975, received teaching license in 1980, returned to Germany 1981. After I had expanded the article, in my efforts to upgrade the articles of people who died, two of my friends said they studied with him, and two others that they had met him. Small world. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:24, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I notice that happening a lot. I encounter what I think is an obscure character or building at DYK or RD, and suddenly that entity seems to crop up in all sorts of other places I wasn't expecting. Thanks for the update and the QPQ, all good now! All the best — Amakuru (talk) 13:12, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
