White's Fort (Hayfield, Virginia)
[edit]( )
- ... that during the French and Indian War, Major Robert White fortified his residence with a stone addition and stockade to shelter neighboring settlers from Native American attacks?

- Article is long enough and new enough, no obvious copyvios, QPQ done. Sources offline, so accepted in good faith, DYK fact is sourced. Cannot see any issues, except the length of the DYK (at 271 characters), but since it displays at 177 chars, I don't see it as an issue which should stop this going forward. Good to go.
