ALT0b ... that The Travelers (sculptures) represent emigrants who have left a part of themselves behind?
ALT1: ... that The Travelers (sculptures) show people with large portions of their bodies missing? Source: 1 surrealist sculptures, depict people with huge portions of their bodies missing
ALT2: ... that The Travelers (sculptures), which show people who have large portions of their bodies missing started as a mistake? Source: 1 an involuntary flaw in one of his characters, in 2004, that gave him the idea to dig and hollow out his first statue
Overall: Article is new enough, long enough and well sourced. ALT0 is the best and most interesting in my opinion, so I'm approving that one. No copyvio on earwig and qpq is done. All in all good to go! My only comment is that it might be nice to add a photo. Could a cropped version of the one in the article work (it looks really nice)? Thank you for reviewing. I was unsure if the photo was ok for DYK based on rationale. There are others on commons which are cropped, however they are not aa dramatic. Bruxton (talk) 01:19, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
@Dumelow and BuySomeApples: Thanks, I changed the photo. I think the Singapore photos are obscured so that it is not readily apparent what is unique about the sculptures. In any event I hope the nomination can proceed with or without the new photo. Bruxton (talk) 21:50, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
@Bruxton: Thanks for swapping out the photo in the article! That's a shame about the other photo but it's a great nom either way. I've approved this one without any image since the other pictures wouldn't work as well. BuySomeApples (talk) 02:45, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
