Sunny Choi
- ... that Sunny Choi is the first American woman to qualify for Olympic breakdancing?
- ALT1: ... that Olympic breakdancer Sunny Choi did not listen to much hip-hop before breakdancing save for a "teenage Dirty South music phase"? Source: "Still, she felt a disconnect. Besides having a miniature, teenage Dirty South music phase, she was far from a rap fanatic -- she was more used to her dad playing classical music around the house." - Comment: Optimally should run on August 9th. Can give more hooks or reword the existing ones later.

- ALT2 ... that while Sunny Choi and Logan Edra represent their country at the Olympics in breakdancing, Afghan breakdancer Manizha Talash competes as a member of the IOC Refugee Olympic Team?
- Source: Sunny Choi is first U.S. woman to qualify for Olympic breaking; Edra will look to win the first ever Olympic medal in breaking; Manizha Talash is one of 36 athletes on the Refugee Olympic Team for Paris, one of two women on the team originally from Afghanistan and the lone athlete on the team who competes in the new Olympic sport of breaking
By now, we have nominations for three female breakdancers. Combining them into a single hook seems sensible. Further hook suggestions would be welcome. Schwede66 02:56, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
Ok, I shall review this nomination. Newly expanded and long enough. Her birth date failed verification; the sources both give "November 1988" but the article also shows the day – this will need to be fixed, MSG17. The article is neutral. Earwig is clean. ALT0 and ALT1 are both sourced and interesting enough, but I have suggested ALT2 instead so that we can have a combined hook with the two other female breakers. Somebody else will thus have to review ALT2. QPQ has been done. Hence, this is almost good to go bar one referencing issue, and the need for somebody to review ALT2. - A BLP issue like that should have been yeeted on sight @Schwede66:. ALT2 checks out.--Launchballer 09:08, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
