Radio Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero
[edit]- ... that Radio Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero has broadcast since 1982 but has never been recognized at the federal level? Source: "En sus 34 años no está reconocida ante el Instituto Federal de Telecomunicación" (sic)
- Reviewed: OVC project
- Comment: Pirate radio stations aren't normally notable, but to me this station is a major exception — I believe this one clears the bar because of its extensive history, record of harassment from federal authorities, and official operation as part of a major public university.
Moved to mainspace by Raymie (talk). Self-nominated at 22:08, 21 December 2016 (UTC).
- Article is new enough (moved to mainspace on 17 December, nominated on 21 December), long enough (4869 characters), and article is within policy. I believe that this article passes Wikipedia's general notability guidelines.
- Hook is short enough, interesting, and supported by inline source (AGF as it's in Spanish).
- QPQ done.
- Overall this nomination passes (with AGF on foreign language hook source). Joseph2302 (talk) 21:28, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
