- @Urmelbeauftragter: New enough and long enough. I have some concerns, however, namely the Student Initiative Rahel section that has no inline citations; the fact that said article is up for DYK concurrently with this one, presenting the possibility of the article being linked from DYK twice; and the fact that the article needs some light copyediting. I have no way of checking the sources in the article, and I'm also not seeing a concise statement of the original hook (ALT1 may work) in the article. No QPQ required as user has no DYK credits. - What do you mean with "the Student Initiative Rahel section that has no inline citations"? And what could a "concise statement of the original hook" be?--Urmelbeauftragter 09:50, 25 December 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay, I wasn't notified when you replied. Every paragraph in a DYK article must have at least one inline citation. Currently, the only paragraph in the Student Initiative Rahel section lacks a citation. This could potentially be brought over from that article. As to the "concise statement", we at DYK expect to see the content of the hook of the article reflected in one place somewhere. Unfortunately, this isn't the case right now; the best way to remedy that would be to mention in the first sentence that the money is collected by the Student Initiative members, and to have some sort of supporting citation there.
- While I'm here, I want to also teach you how to ping users in a discussion. You type
{{ping|username}}
and put that at the beginning of the discussion. So, for instance,{{ping|Raymie}}
will ping me when you reply to this comment. That way, you'll get a response faster. Raymie (t • c) 06:38, 31 December 2016 (UTC)- @Raymie:OK, I've seen there was no "reference" in the section of the article OVC project on which the hook is referred to. Do you mean this with: "the Student Initiative Rahel section that has no inline citations"? Moreover I've done some slightly changes in the article OVC project so the hook of the article is reflected in one place. Have I fixed what you wanted to say?--Urmelbeauftragter 13:32, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Urmelbeauftragter: This is on the right track. Citation 4 fixes the issue of no cite on the paragraph, and citations 5 and 3 combine sufficiently to satisfy the need to have the hook contents cited (though the language problem and offline sourcing mean I must assume good faith). I prefer ALT1 in the event that the Student Initiative Rahel article also clears DYK, but ALT0 is also fine. Raymie (t • c) 19:07, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
- I took the liberty to delink Ethiopia. Please find a way to include the image, unless it's not wanted. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:41, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Raymie:So you think there are no more changes needed? What do mean with "in the event that Student Initiative Rahel article also clears DYK"? What would be needed for it?--Urmelbeauftragter (talk) 12:57, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt:The image is already included in the article. Do you mean the motive should be included in the hook?--Urmelbeauftragter (talk) 12:58, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
- No, I mean that (pictured) has to appear in the hook. Actually, I think the picture is only remotely relevant to the article and should not be taken, it also doesn't show much in stamp size. But if you want it included, you need to add the very string, - compare other nominations for examples. I am sorry to be of no help, because I would not know what of the hook is pictured by that image. - Happy 2017! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:03, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
- I agree, the picture doesn't have much relevance to the article or the hook. Raymie (t • c) 18:46, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
- I've found the picture in Wikipedia Commons. Yes, it has no direct relation to the OVC project. But I don't have own pictures or pictures which I could use until now. I was contacted by the leader of the project in Ethiopia but until now I have no new facts or media I could use. It seems to me you're right that the picture has less relevance for the DYK nomination. But it seems to me if I would get a more relevant one it would to late for it.--Urmelbeauftragter (talk) 22:28, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

- N.b. Per the tick above and commentary therein, and the initial review, this appears good to go. A promoter can decide whether or not to use the image. North America1000 11:49, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
