Hi Bruxton (talk) nice article, I've added a little info I came across. Do you have a source for the alternative title, it is stated uncited only in the lead at the moment. I am a bit wary of stating "considered to be a milestone...", the source says "it has been called a milestone in nineteenth-century realism in the Netherlands" but doesn't attribute the opinion - it might well be just one critic who holds this opinion. Is there an alternative hook you would consider? - Dumelow (talk) 07:07, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Dumelow Thanks for the review and for the additions. Source for the other title Langs Moeders Graf I believe it is just the Dutch translation (along mother's grave) and the commons category is also called the same. Source. I will place one in there after the mention in the body. If you meant the other alternate title Passing the Churchyard it has been called that and I added a book reference to the body.
- ALT0a ... that the painting Passing Mother's Grave (pictured) by Jozef Israëls was his best known work and after his death it was made into a bronze sculpture? Source. I am of course open to other hooks. Bruxton (talk) 15:42, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
Hi Bruxton, sorry, yes I meant the "passing the churchyard", but see you've now cited this, cheers. I'll tick both hooks but note to the promoter my statement on ALT0 above. Article created in time and exceeds minimum length, I found no issue with overly close paraphrasing from the sources I looked at; image is properly licensed; a QPQ has been carried out - Dumelow (talk) 16:07, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
