Mosaic G2 nuclear test
- ... that the second test in the Operation Mosaic series (pictured) was the largest nuclear device ever detonated in Australia? Source: "Mosaic G2, also tower mounted was exploded on Alpha Island at 1014 WAST on 19 June 1956. It produced a yield of 60 kt, making it the largest device exploded by the UK in Australia." Hi Hawkeye7, review follows: Article expanded 5+ times over period since 3 August; article is well written and cited inline throughout to impeccable sources; many sources are offline but a spot check revealed no issues with copyright violations; hook is interesting and cited in the article; citation for hook checks out to a reliable and accessible source; image is correctly licensed and confirmed public domain; image is very good even at small scale; QPQ has been carried out.
