Interesting good article on excellent sources. I confess that the hooks interest me enough. I find much more interesting that the name of the duchy refers to a person who may have been real or fiction. I think we should not translate the title of the chronicle but show that it is old, otherwise it might be mistaken for a new book. I miss Khazar, so would like to see the term mentioned, but other than personal sentimentality, I doubt that links to something not known help clicks to the "real" article. My version of the hooks would be:

The Gesta Hungarorum

ALT2: ... that the chronicle Gesta Hungarorum (pictured) explicitly mentions only the Khazars and Székelys as peoples who inhabited Menumorut around 900?
ALT3: ... that ruler Menumorut communicated "haughtily with a Bulgarian heart" with the invading Magyars, according to the chronicle Gesta Hungarorum (pictured).
but I hope you will come up with something else. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:11, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, thank you for your kind words. I also prefer a version with reference to the Khazars :). My only concern is that Menumorut was the name of a person and not of a duchy. Please find below my new version:
ALT4: ... that the chronicle Gesta Hungarorum (pictured) explicitly mentions only the Khazars and Székelys as peoples who inhabited the realm of Duke Menumorut around 900?
offline sources accepted AGF. I guess it's tricky to make an infobox of him, as we know so little? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:03, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, thank you for your review. Yes, I was thinking of an infobox, but I concluded that we only know his name and the year of his death. Have a nice day. Borsoka (talk) 16:17, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
