- Length, date and hook fact checks out, good to go. However, the grammar in the hook is a bit odd, I'd suggest ALT1: "... that three bombs went off during the Governor General's speech at the 1995 Republic Day Parade at the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu?"

- Agree that there are problems with original hook, but a hook with grammatical problems is not ready to be promoted. Until a satisfactory hook has been agreed upon by nominator and reviewer, the nomination should not be approved. Here's another suggestion; you may not want the new final three words (which are AGF; the accessible Pittsburgh source says "at least seven", so I'm assuming the "eight" given in the article is from the off-line source), but the rest is a cleaner statement of what's in the original and first alternate:
- ALT2: ... that three bombs exploded in Jammu's Maulana Azad Stadium during the Governor General's 1995 Republic Day Parade speech, killing eight people? —BlueMoonset (talk) 08:11, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, 8 is per the book. Im ok with both ALT1 and ALT2. Cheers, Around The Globeसत्यमेव जयते 08:24, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
