Mataram conquest of Surabaya
[edit]- ... that during the Mataram conquest of Surabaya, Mataram forces dammed the Brantas River to limit water supply to the city of Surabaya?
Source: "From 1620 to 1625, Agung periodically besieged Surabaya and destroyed its crops. Finally, the River Brantas was dammed and the city's water supply cut off." Source: in Ricklefs p. 47

- The article is new enough, long enough and of high quality. The offline source, provided via Google Books and incorporated in the article as citation 13, makes for an interesting hook for a general audience. No copyvio issues to be had. QPQ present. Looks good to me. Raymie (t • c) 23:59, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
