[edit]... that Mary Ivy Burks (1920-2007) was nicknamed the "mother of Alabama wilderness"?Source: The Battle for Alabama's Wilderness

- The nominator is exempt from performing a QPQ review, per QPQ check results. The article is new and long enough, all non-lead ¶ with citations, a copyvio check reveals no problems.
- A matter is that the source does not appear to specifically state that this was the subject's nickname. The source refers to the subject stating, "The mother of Alabama wilderness is Mary Ivy Burks..." and "Mary Burks was fated to become the mother of Alabama wilderness preservation". It seems that only the book source may be referring to the subject using this language, but the source has no mention of this being her nickname. However, the source is essentially paywalled, with only a preview available in Gbooks. After performing some searches, I cannot find any sources that specifically state this is the subject's nickname. Perhaps an ALT hook would work out better. - Hello North America--how do you feel about "called" instead of "nicknamed"? Thanks for the review, Dr Aaij (talk) 01:51, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Dr Aaij: How about this: "that Mary Ivy Burks (1920-2007) has been referred to as the "mother of Alabama wilderness"?
- North America, I like that less than "called" (and it's more verbose), but if that will pass, sure. BTW, I did a QPQ review anyway, at Template:Did you know nominations/Kirchenlied. Dr Aaij (talk) 02:11, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

- Good to go for ALT1. I have struck the initial hook. Since ALT1 has only a minor rewording of the initial hook, a new review is not needed. North America1000 02:14, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- Northamerica1000, thank you so much, also on behalf of JANAE2290. Dr Aaij (talk) 03:14, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
