Lufsig
[edit]... that the translated name of a soft toy from IKEA sounds like profanity?
- Comment: third party nomination

- I suggest we keep profanities away from MainPage. ALT2: ... that the IKEA soft toy Lufsig has recently become an anti-government symbol in Hong Kong? --PFHLai (talk) 07:49, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- Yes we should avoid profanities from main page, therefore I suggested ALT1. "Lufsig" does not evoke any profanity in English so we should use the name directly. Deryck C. 23:39, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- But ALT1 is still referring to the profanity. --PFHLai (talk) 06:32, 15 December 2013 (UTC) ALT2 now tweaked to display the name. It was hidden to keep the hook short. --PFHLai (talk) 16:00, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

- Since Deryck C. proposed ALT1, he can't also approve it. New reviewer needed for the two ALT hooks; I've struck the original one. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:31, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- Date, length and hook all OK. Personally I don't see a problem with the original because it doesn't have a swear word in it and even if it did, WP:NOTCENSORED. I keep the strike only because it is unclear (translated from what?) Either of the Alts are fine. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 21:45, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
