Low Country Sound, RCA Studio A
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that Low Country Sound operates out of historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, Tennessee?
- ALT1:... that Dave Cobb produces music for his cousin Brent Cobb at the Low Country Sound studio in historic RCA Studio A?
- ALT2:... that Ben Folds had rented RCA Studio A in Nashville, Tennessee for 12 years before Dave Cobb moved in with his Low Country Sound label?
- ALT3:... that Dave Cobb produced and recorded Chris Stapleton’s album Traveller in RCA Studio A, which is also headquarters of Cobb’s Low Country Sound label?
- ALT4:... that Shooter Jennings’s next album will be recorded and produced in RCA Studio A by Dave Cobb on his Low Country Sound label? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sirsentence (talk • contribs) 22:07, 5 April 2018 (UTC)

- Both articles are within policy, using incline cites at least once per paragraph and generally being compliant. No diwpute or warning templates or talk page discussions. Both articles are long enough, and were new enough when nominated. No copyvio or close paraphrasing found. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 12:56, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- QPK done fully. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 16:07, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hooks:
- ALT0 is present in both articles and fully supported by a reliable source
- ALT1 is not OK. Brent Cobb is mentioned as produced by Low Country Sound in that article, but not that he is a cousin of Dave Cobb's, nor that his record was specifically produced in Studio A. The studio A article lists Brent among the notable performers who have recorded there, but not that Dave Cobb produced him, nor the cousin relationship. I fear this hook is a case of WP:SYNTH.
- ALT2 is present in both articles and fully supported by a reliable source.
- ALT3 is not OK. Stapleton is mentioned as having recorded in Studio A, but the album title is not mentioned. Again, WP:SYNTH.
- ALT4 is not OK. Jennings is mentioned as planning to release his next album on Low Country Sound, but not that the brecording will happen in Studio A. Again, WP:SYNTH.
- This looks good to go for ALT0 or ALT2, but would need changes for any to the others. Persinally i find ALT2 a bit boring, and would favor ALT0. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 16:07, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- @DESiegel: Thanks for the review. I'm good with ALT0 or ALT2, but I prefer ALT0 as well, so if you are okay with it, you can just accept it with ALT0 and ignore the rest. Regards SoWhy 16:18, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- That is fine with me, SoWhy. I hereby formally accept ALT0. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 16:43, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
