Lewat Djam Malam
[edit]... that Usmar Ismail's 1954 film After the Curfew was screened at Cannes in 2012?
- ALT1:
... that Usmar Ismail time as a soldier may have given his 1954 film After the Curfew more realism? - ALT2:... that a mouldy old film was screened at Cannes?
- Reviewed: Burmese chronicles
- Comment: ALT2 is for April Fools

- I could not understand Indonesian. Nevertheless, all references verify the whole article, and the plot may be referenced by primary sources themselves. Article is long enough to pass DYK requirement. Just one thing: was the director nominated as Best Director in the Indonesian Film Festival? --George Ho (talk) 06:24, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- It says so right in the table... — Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:43, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'll rephrase: FN 8 doesn't say that the director was nominated by Indonesian Film Festival, unless I'm wrong. In FN 8, I see seven award noms for Indonesian and one for Asian, which totals eight. --George Ho (talk) 06:48, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oops, you're right. Fixed. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:19, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Well-sourced, well-written, and well-lengthed. All hooks are exceptional, but ALT 2 is good for April Fools, and ALT 1 might need some little copyediting by a promoter, so I will leave this hook issue to the promoter of DYK main page. If there are no objections, this nomination passes, as well as all hooks. --George Ho (talk) 07:26, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
