- Article is well over 15,000 characters (did you misread the DYK criteria? ), new enough. No copyvios found. Hook is not sourced by the text; call me a pedant but the article states that 100,000 copies were produced, not sold. Estimates for that range from 60,000 to 100,000.--Launchballer 09:29, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
- Haha, I must have missed a zero! ;-) As to the proposed hook, I don't quite know what to do… one source says "some 100,000 pairs were in circulation", which seems to confirm the sales figure. If that is not precise enough, I'd propose using ALT1: ... that a prototype of the LS3/5A was produced by the research department of the BBC within one week of a request [for a miniature studio monitor] being made? -- Ohc ¡digame! 08:29, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
