Kelly Gunther
[edit]- ... that speed skater Kelly Gunther (pictured) overcame an accident that nearly severed her foot to make the 2014 Winter Olympics?
- Reviewed: Donald R. Dwight
- Comment: Please hold for use during the Olympics, preferrably on Gunther's day of competition (Feb 13). Note: I am listing this as a Jan 5 so that the article creator gets some credit. If the reviewer wishes to be a stickler for the within 5 days rule, it is also a 5x expansion from Jan 11, in which case only I would get credit.

- . New enough, but only per the Swahili exception. Spot-checked for copyvio; no concerns found. Article is long enough. Hook fact amply supported by cited facts. Hook fact is sufficiently interesting (we all love a bit of blood and gore). Article pleasantly neutral (the sources, by contrast, foam about her heroism). Image is free (according to Commons) and is useable at this size. Please hold for use during Olympics. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 21:05, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
