Keine Kameraden
- ... that Keine Kameraden (1978) on the Soviet prisoners of war was said to "necessitate revision ... to all previous books on the Russo-German war"? Source: https://doi.org/10.2307%2F2615767
- ALT1 ... that in 1978, the findings of Keine Kameraden that 3.3 million Soviet prisoners of war died of ideologically motivated mistreatment caused a sensation in Germany?
- ALT2 ... that more than thirty years later, the first major study on the 3.3 million Soviet prisoners of war who died in German custody of ideologically motivated mistreatment caused a sensation in Germany?

- Article has just been created and is long enough. There are no images. Text is clear, neutral, and cited to excellent sources (ref [2] Förster isn't correctly formatted, but not an issue here). On the hook, which is rather long, I'm not sure I can word one exactly; but Streit indicated that the mishandling of prisoners, and many deaths (half a million handed to the SS to be murdered) were deliberate, even genocidal (ref [3]): surely we can have a stronger and more pertinent hook which alludes to this.
