John Tiffany
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that John Tiffany was recruited to direct on Broadway by James Bond film series producer Barbara Broccoli?
- Reviewed: I am withdrawing Template:Did you know nominations/Underclass All-American. So I will reuse 9th of 12 QPQs for Template:Did you know nominations/Kieran Govers, Simon Orchard, Robert Hammond, Nathan Burgers, Matthew Butturini, Kiel Brown, Joel Carroll, Mark Knowles (field hockey), Fergus Kavanagh, Glenn Turner (field hockey), Jason Wilson (field hockey), Russell Ford.

- Date, length and hook all OK. Good to go. If you want it up by tonight, you'll have to ask an admin to do it as it would require re-arranging the queues. The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 12:04, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
(ALT1)... that Drama Desk Award for Musical Direction winner and Tony Award for Musical Direction nominee John Tiffany was recruited to direct on Broadway by James Bond film series producer Barbara Broccoli?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 14:14, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- (ALT2)... that Once, which was directed by John Tiffany and choreographed by Steven Hoggett, has the most nominations at the 66th Tony Awards?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 15:54, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- (ALT3)... that James Bond film series producer Barbara Broccoli recruited John Tiffany to direct Once, which is choreographed by Steven Hoggett?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 15:54, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
The other article is OK as well. GTG. I prefer ALT3 as I think mentioning James Bond is a good idea. The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 16:04, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- This affects all three ALTs only; the original hook is still acceptable. I'm striking ALT1 because it's simply inaccurate: it's not for musical direction, which only involves the music, it's for the entire production's direction. If either ALT2 and ALT3 are used, a QPQ must be done to include the Steven Hoggett article. Potential replacements for ALT1:
- ALT4: ... that Drama Desk Award winner and Tony Award nominee John Tiffany was recruited to direct on Broadway by James Bond film series producer Barbara Broccoli?
- ALT5: ... that director John Tiffany, Drama Desk Award winner and Tony Award nominee for Once, was recruited to direct on Broadway by James Bond film series producer Barbara Broccoli?— Preceding unsigned comment added by BlueMoonset (talk • contribs) 18:45, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- Note that there is no consensus (see WP:DYKSG H4) on the need to to multiple reviews for a multiple article hook. I.E., multiple reviews are not required. I did not realize this for some time. I prefere both ALT2 and ALT 3.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:38, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- On the contrary: you are misreading H4. You cannot use the review of one article within a multi-article hook to satisfy both articles in another multi-article hook. Either an entire hook for an entire hook, or a single article for a single article. Please supply another article QPQ beyond the one you have already supplied to cover the two articles in ALT2 and ALT3 if you want them to be used. Otherwise, only the original hook is eligible. Reviewed:Template:Did you know nominations/Holothuria spinifera (swapping review credits with Template:Did you know nominations/Mural with Blue Brushstroke & Mermaid where only one hook has been sent to the main page and the discussion is still open).--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 20:23, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry. Mermaid has already been on the front page, so that hook is used up. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:02, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- My error: I should have checked "sent to the main page": it's actually in Queue 2. The fact remains, it's been queued and accepted with that QPQ, so it's already assigned. Please move them back to the way they were, and add another QPQ here. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:07, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

- QPQ satisfied for Steven Hoggett article using Template:Did you know nominations/Charles Dennis Fisher; ALT2 and ALT3, both preferred by nominator, are approved. ALT4 and ALT5 have not yet been approved, and should not be used. Regarding the participation, I don't see why that should qualify; it's a supporting comment to Laura's review, not a full-fledged review or re-review. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:47, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
