Jimmy Bonner
- ... that Jimmy Bonner (pictured) became the first African American to play baseball professionally in Japan in 1936, eleven years before Jackie Robinson's major league debut? Source: NPR and Pearce, p. 211

- : King of Hearts review follows: QPQ done, article is neutral, cited, well written, no copyvio. hook is interesting, AGF on sourcing to Pearce, the NPR mostly gets the whole hook fact, regardless. Article is new enough and long enough. Image is appropriately licenced, but I'm concerned it doesn't render very well at 100px-- it's not the best quality. Thoughts? Otherwise, good to go-- thanks for your work. Eddie891 Talk Work 15:22, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
