- New enough, (barely) long enough, and topical (I remember noticing the recent obituaries for him), with an interesting hook. The link to Uniontown needs disambiguation but that shouldn't hold up DYK. The article and its hook are well sourced; there's an argument that all the sources are really about a single event (his death) but they're in such major outlets that I think he is notable regardless. The only copied text found by Earwig was in direct quotes, and I found no other problems with copying. I'm skeptical whether the contributions of No Swan So Fine and Prioryman are enough for DYK credit, but certainly the nominator Edwardx and initial creator The Wiki ghost both deserve credit. The image is a featured picture and is properly licensed. QPQ is still needed, though, before we can use this in DYK. —David Eppstein (talk) 22:00, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you, David Eppstein. QPQ now done. Edwardx (talk) 14:44, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
- Good to go now that the QPQ has been done. Edwardx, please do re-review the QPQ DYK now that your initial review has a response. —David Eppstein (talk) 07:46, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
