Herr Jesu Christ, dich zu uns wend
[edit]- ... that Bach composed five organ settings of the hymn "Herr Jesu Christ, dich zu uns wend" which was translated by Catherine Winkworth for communion as "Lord Jesus Christ, be present now!"? Source: 1) book 2) [1] but don't believe 2) regarding the author of the German hymn who is unknown

- Comment: longish hook, but I'd like to have some English, and the translator's misunderstanding ;)
