German torpedo boat T24

  • This article is new enough and long enough and I have added Sturmvogel 66 to the credits. The article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. The image is unclear and I think it is better not used. @L293D: However I am confused when I come to the hook facts; I take it that the action is that of 26 April 1944, but the flotilla consisted of T23 and her sisters T27 and T29, so where did T24 suddenly appear from? And the article does not state, as far as I can see that they were escorting blockade runners at the time. No QPQ needed. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:50, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
  • @Cwmhiraeth: according to The German Fleet at War, 1939-1945, T24 took part in the Action of 26 April 1944. You are correct, however, that the Action of 26 April was not a blockade runner escorting mission, so I propose the following hook: L293D ( • ) 01:37, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that after being damaged twice by Allied ships, escorting a blockade runner and hitting two mines, the German torpedo boat T24 was sunk by air-launched rockets? Source: page 347 of Rohwer, Jürgen (2005). Chronology of the War at Sea 1939-1945: The Naval History of World War Two (Third Revised ed.). Annapolis, Maryland: Naval Institute Press. • Approving ALT1. This should be good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:10, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
