Frans van der Lugt
[edit]- ... that Dutch Jesuit priest Frans van der Lugt, who had lived in Syria since 1966 and ministered to Christian and Muslims alike, was shot dead in April 2014 in Homs?

- New enough, long enough, good citations. No copyvios or close paraphrasing found. Hook well cited. I've added "dead" after "shot". One minor point, it is still being classed as a stub, so that needs to be dealt with. And the QPQ, of course! Having spent a bit of time in Homs, this is an even sadder story. Edwardx (talk)
- @Edwardx: the stub category is dealt with. I'll do the QPQ immediately (you can have faith after almost 300 DYKS). Did you know him? Homs can't be that big--and what a tragedy, that city. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 22:58, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
