Ferdinand Budicki
[edit]- ... that Ferdinand Budicki, an early automobile pioneer from Zagreb, Croatia, had to teach his driving examiners how to drive?
- ALT1:... that in 1897, Ferdinand Budicki, an early automobile pioneer from Zagreb, Croatia, traveled over 17,000 km through Europe and Africa on a bicycle?
- ALT2:... that in 1901, Ferdinand Budicki was the first person to receive a traffic ticket in Zagreb, Croatia?
- Comment: Exempt from QPQ. I have one DYK credit (L.A. Takedown) and one nomination (Croatian Natural History Museum). Daß Wölf (talk) 23:58, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

- The article was nominated within a week of creation. It is sufficiently long and well-sourced. All hook facts are supported by direct inline citations. I see no copyright violation; all sources are in Serbo-Croatian and there are plenty of them. The subject died over 60 years ago, so the image qualifies as fair use. The article might benefit from division into sections, however. Another hook could be about him possibly being the first person to drive a car in Croatia. Of those suggested by you, I prefer the original hook. ALT2 would also be good if you could make the connection between Budicki being an automotive pioneer as well as the first person to receive a speeding ticket.
