Equivalent Lands
[edit]( )
- ... that the Equivalent lands were the result of a land-swap made between the Massachusetts Bay and Connecticut colonies in 1715?

- As such, this article does not pass the fivefold (5x) expansion, required by WP:DYK rules. And no, ignoring such rules do not apply here. I've done nominating articles that do not pass required fivefold expansion. I guess this is your first time nominating this article, as I can see. The old revision had over 2,300 characters in prose size. The current revision does not go over the 11.6k prose requirement --George Ho (talk) 05:31, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, first time. I pretty much started the article and expanded it, and thought it had some interesting information; but I didn't realize I could nominate it myself at the time of creation. Sorry to have wasted your time. --GenQuest "Talk to Me" 05:41, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- I gave an "X" instead of a "/" because... I am not confident that you can insert that much amount, unless there are other sources of different info on the same topic. --George Ho (talk) 05:34, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I did not mean to disdain your work. In fact, you have done a lot of huge improvements and great work. But rules are rules; however, maybe you can nominate it as good article someday. --George Ho (talk) 06:06, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
