Eliza Walker Dunbar
[edit]... that Eliza Walker Dunbar caused the entire medical staff of Bristol Royal Hospital for Children to resign in protest, leaving her as the only doctor on site for 5 days?... that Eliza Walker Dunbar caused all the other doctors at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children to resign in protest, leaving her as the only doctor on site for five days?
5x expanded by Worm That Turned (talk) and Staceydolxx (talk). Nominated by Worm That Turned (talk) at 10:01, 10 August 2016 (UTC).
- The hook says "entire medical staff" but the article says "doctors". Which is it? Gatoclass (talk) 13:53, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- It occurs to me that the hook is a bit misleading in that it says Dunbar "caused" the doctors to resign, when actually it was her appointment that caused them to resign. So I would suggest the following changes:
- ALT2:
... that the appointment of Eliza Walker Dunbar caused all the other doctors at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children to resign in protest, leaving her as the only doctor on site?Gatoclass (talk) 15:29, 10 August 2016 (UTC)- I believe tensions were high based on her appointment (they all threatened to resign but only 2 did when she was appointed). It was only 5 weeks later when there was an "alteraction" with a senior member of staff that the remainder left - that said, I do like the alt, which I think explains the situation well enough and am happy to go ahead with that one WormTT(talk) 15:49, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Good point. I'll give it another tweak:
- ALT3: ... that all the other doctors at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children resigned in protest after the appointment of Eliza Walker Dunbar, leaving her the only doctor on site? Gatoclass (talk) 15:57, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Worm That Turned, you didn't say whether or not you approve of ALT3. Gatoclass (talk) 12:01, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
- Full review needed now that hook is set. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:52, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
