Eileen Ramsay (photographer)
- ... that yachting photographer Eileen Ramsay damaged many Rolleiflex cameras (example pictured) by hanging out of a launch to take photos at water level? Source: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2017/feb/21/eileen-ramsay-obituary

- Comment: There are a few other possible hooky facts in the article but I think having a picture of a camera like Eileen's makes this one the most interesting.
I know it's probably an issue that most of the in-depth sources about her were written mostly by the same person (I tried to locate stuff by others), but I think her notability, impact, and significance is clearly demonstrated, despite the very niche field of yachting which is definitely WAY outside my ballpark.
I'm trying to find an article to review that hasn't already been snaffled, so that will come ASAP. Created by Mabalu (talk). Self-nominated at 08:58, 30 August 2022 (UTC).
- Hi Mabalu, review follows: article created 26 August and exceeds minimum length; article is well written; appreciate your comment about the articles but don't think this is an issue for DYK, both are published in reliable sources; I didn't pick up any issue with overly close paraphrasing form the sources; hook fact is interesting, mentioned in the article, and checks out to the source; image is used in article and freely licensed. Nice article on an interesting subject, just awaiting a QPQ and this will be good to go - Dumelow (talk) 13:55, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
