- Date and length checks out. Needs some rewrite, too much close paraphrase from http://www.sikh-history.com/sikhhist/personalities/sewadars/pheruman.html . Hook ok, but I think it missed the most notable detail, I propose ALT1: ... that Sikh politician Darshan Singh Pheruman died after 74 days on hunger strike, demanding inclusion of Chandigarh and other Punjabi speaking areas into Punjab? --Soman (talk) 10:04, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
