- Benlisquare, can't you bring in an image? Surely this should be placed at the top of the list when it gets promoted. Nyttend (talk) 04:24, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, never thought of that. The choice of image would probably depend on which hook is selected.
For ALT1, I'm thinking that File:Chinese honor guard in column 070322-F-0193C-014.JPEG would fit well;
For ALT4, File:China 100.78713E 35.63718N.jpg seems like a decent match.
ALT5 should use File:China, Mao (2).jpg; ALT9 should use File:Panda Cub from Wolong, Sichuan, China.JPG.
For all others, File:Flag of the People's Republic of China.svg would probably be the most simple and natural solution. --benlisquareT•C•E 04:33, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

- Date and lengths fine. I think that putting so many ALTs makes it harder to review. I will say that alt10 appears too promotional. I'll let the promoter decide which hook to use since they're all valid. I would also suggest using the flag. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 10:01, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
