Improved to Good Article status by Another Believer (talk). Nominated by Onegreatjoke (talk) at 22:20, 18 January 2023 (UTC).
- This looks like it's well written and well sourced. I prefer the first one, since it gives readers more context. Could we just say RuPaul's Drag Race, as the common name? Shooterwalker (talk) 23:53, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Drive-by comment (I approved the GA) for Shooterwalker: I suspect the reason the hook has been written this way is because RuPaul is not involved or named in every international version and the hook covers all international versions. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 17:04, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- That was my intuition too. Let's have Onegreatjoke check back in. I might prefer the text to say "The (X) edition of RuPaul's Drag Race", but the current text might be fine. Shooterwalker (talk) 19:07, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

- If preferred, we can just say RuPaul's Drag Race in the hook. Onegreatjoke (talk) 18:19, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- I think it will read better that way. We could always redirect it to whichever edition is appropriate. Shooterwalker (talk) 17:01, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

Overall: Article promoted to GA status on January 15, and nominated within seven days. Length is adequate. Article is neutral in tone, and no plagiarism was detected. ALT0 could be interesting to a broad audience, and is properly mentioned in the article. ALT0 fails verification since the sources say he was the first Romani contestant, not the only one. ALT1 is more interesting, but fails verification since the term Romanichal appears nowhere in this article. Without similar words being used, it will get mentioned at WP:ERRORS and needs clarification. Image of Valentine is appropriately licensed as fair use. QPQ requirement is complete. Overall the article will be a welcome addition to DYK with some minor attention. Flibirigit (talk) 15:54, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
