- ALT1:... that Caleb Grafton Roberts, head of the Second World War Allied Intelligence Bureau, was a highway engineer before the war? as above plus "On 1 July 1942 Roberts was appointed controller of the Allied Intelligence Bureau at Douglas MacArthur's General Headquarters, South-West Pacific Area." from the same source

- Accept ALT1 The article was created on the 7th, so is new enough. It is more than long enough (though i'd suggest shortening the lede a bit, it restates a bit too much of the article body for its length). The article reads neutrally, is cited properly, and has no meaningful copyvio issues after using the tool. I'd go with the Alt1 hook for its wording and it is short enough and interesting enough. The QPQ has also been done already. Looks good to go. SilverserenC 01:11, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
